Walgreens Brand Health & Wellness Products Review 03/14/11

Walgreen’s asked if Scrumptious Tidbits would do a review for one of their Walgreens Brand Health & Wellness Products and of course, we were thrilled.  My family has been a big Walgreens fan over the years, so I was looking forward to doing this review.  Last week we were sent a free Walgreens Brand Toothbrush to try, so I replaced my usual one with their brand for 7 days.

The first thing I noticed about the Walgreens Brand Toothbrush is that it felt very similar to the nationally branded toothbrushes.  It’s rubber sure-grip handle did a nice job at keeping the toothbrush from slipping from my hand as I brushed.  It also features a tongue scraper on the back of the brush, which is always an added bonus to find on a toothbrush.  The bristles are nice and firm, making my teeth and gums feel very clean and massaged after each use.

Did I mention that this toothbrush is only .99?  The last toothbrush (nationally branded) I purchased with the same features was nearly $4 and it’s bristles lost shape after a week.  Had I’d known how good Walgreens Brand Toothbrushes were, I would have provided the entire family with them long ago and saved a bundle.
