Italian Sausage and Peppers Over Rice 07/19/12
Full of flavor and only takes a few minutes to complete. This dish is on my monthly menu rotation just because it’s so quick to make! Enjoy.
Italian Sausage And Peppers Over Rice
Ingredients:
1 pound Italian sausage, cut into 1/4 inch rounds
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 onion, chopped
1/2 cup chicken broth
salt and pepper, to taste
1 cup cooked rice
Directions:
In large skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add sausage and brown. In the same skillet, add onions, bell pepper, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Stir and saute about 6 to 8 minutes. Add chicken broth, stir and cook another 2 to 3 minutes.
Serve the sausage mix over cooked rice. Enjoy!
